WEB NOVEL VS MANGA VS MANHWA VS MANHUA

 Hi everyone this is my first-time doing blogging so there will be grammatical mistakes in my writing but don't worry I will make sure to do my best to convey what you needed through this blog. So let's get started.

WHAT DO I THINK ABOUT MANGA?

From my understanding manga is Japanese comics that you see when you search on Google. You do remember that black and white comics that are very detailed and many talks between characters and have many iconic characters right? THAT IS MANGA. there are many well-known mangas that we know of like "one piece, fairy tail, Naruto, Fullmetal Alchemist, Bleach, Hunter x Hunter, Death Note, Dragon ball Z, Attack on Titan, Jujutsu Kaisen, One punch Man" and more. By now even those who have never read manga before can realise that you may have heard or watched at least 1 episode of its anime version at least once in your life. That's how much popularity these mangas have, and to those who have not tried reading mangas give it a try as it is worth your time.

If we go further into manga, we can realise that its popularity and acceptance are increasing day by day. There is no age difference when reading mangas and those who say that mangas are for children they are likely a person who is not even read any 1 of the available mangas. Because when you start reading it you can't stop because it's that much attractive. And there might be people like me who started reading mangas after watching "Animes" and to know more about the unreleased episodes in the manga version, by the way, you should know that manga is way more detailed than anime whether in dialogue or scenes.

And I prefer manga over anime because it is more detailed than anime but the downside is that it is black and white so after many days you feel a lack of interest in reading if the plot is not that attractive, which leads me to try out manhwas, manhuas and web novels even back to watching animes.

WHAT DO I THINK ABOUT MANHWAS?

Manhwas are comics from S.Korea which is gaining huge popularity and even sometimes more than mangas. I think it is after these manhwas became available digitally for free that they started getting popular. Most of the manhwa lovers who read it are using the webtoon version of it as it is optimised for digital reading. Even though it is said that all manhwas are not webtoons and not all webtoons are not manhwas, to me what I read in the name of manhwas are all in the webtoon format. I have to say that the way we feel when we read manhwas is awesome compared with manga. The continuity that we feel when we read while scrolling when the action scene happens is like we are watching a movie and the colour combinations and all are simply great. if you want to feel what I am talking about right now you should read "Solo Leveling" or " THE BEGINNING AFTER THE END" kind of manhwas, these manhwas are simply to get drawn to manhwas because there are more awesome ones available to read and if you want I will talk about it later.

Even though I said all this I have to say in the case of storyline mangas are far better because for example if we take an action manhwas we can see commonly that in most of them there is an overpowered MC, a Tower, a Level-up system or something similar to that to the point that I thought DO THEY HAVE NO NEW CREATIVE IDEAS? and another thing we see is that the dialogues between characters are very lacking. If we think about it we can also see that most of the manhwas have no large storyline to the point we can summarise it quickly but I have to say the way that they implement this storyline as manhwas is very appreciative.

WHAT DO I THINK ABOUT MANHUAS?

manhuas are Chinese comics which is somewhat similar to the mangas but also have huge differences like the characters in manhuas are lifelike people which can relate to the Chinese culture. And most of the action manhuas are martial art based which is nice and blood-boiling. The way they showcase the manhua is like giving only 2 or 3 scenes on a page which is also coloured which is very different from the manga which has more dialogues and 4 to 6 scenes on a single page which is very congested. Chinese manhuas try to bring their culture and myths and stories to manhuas. If you are a person who wants to hear about a story which is very action-oriented, cultivation-based, and martial art involved then this type of comic is best as there are many such manhuas like Marital Peak, Quan Zhi Gao Shou (The King's Avatar), Spirit Blade Mountain, Tales Of Demons And Gods, Soul Land, Feng Shen Ji, Martial Universe, Battle Through the Heavens, The Great Ruler etc.

And one thing I felt from these years of reading is that they are kind of adopting a model which is somewhat similar to the manhwas, I am not saying this fully but there is. if you have doubts you can check the older manhuas and new manhuas you can see it.

WHAT DO I THINK ABOUT WEBNOVELS?

I love reading web novels a lot. if you are a person who loves reading and have a creative mind then it is the best out of the 4. I KNOW you may not believe it but let me tell you that popular comics like Solo Leveling, The Beginning After the End, Omniscient Reader, The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Tales of Demons and Gods and many more are first coming as Novel then adopted. If you love these comics then why can't you accept their novel version, you should know that when a novel is adapted to comics there be many cuts which may be related to character development or relationship between characters and more so it will never be the same as novel when made to comic, so if you want it raw you need to read the novel. As a person who read many web novels before let me tell you there are awesome web novels out there that give you the experience you can't imagine because of the feeling that you get when you read and imagine every minute thing and build up a world in your mind where the story happens it will give you goosebumps. though if you want to feel what I felt then read some novels by good authors because it mainly depends on the author of the novel and his way of writing. you can get good novels from webnovels.com and if you need to pay after reading free chapters there is always google to search for the chapters. SO GIVE IT A TRY MAN.
